Coronavirus Blood Sample

Please be advised do to COVID-19 Social Distancing regulations our offices are currently conducting Distant Appointments for All Health Concerns, including Prevention with Protocols for targeting SARS-CoV/SARS-CoV2, MERS-CoV, for Adults, the Elderly, and Children over 6 months of age.

For further information please refer to the Distant Appointments page or the link below:

Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) which has spread globally resulting in the ongoing 2019-2020 Corona virus pandemic.

Prevention is relevant, especially for High Risk individuals: High Risk individuals such as those with a weak or under-developed immune system such as in the elderly and in children respectively, including individuals with preexisting chronic health conditions, individuals who are anemic, and individuals with inflammatory, developmental or degenerative disorders.

Distant Appointments can also assist those currently infected with mild to moderate symptoms.

For those with progressive symptoms you may require life supportive equipment for management of symptoms so please go to your local hospital immediately if symptoms appear to worsen.

Prevention with Protocols constitutes holistic Antiviral compounds for inhibiting RNA viruses in SARS, COVID-19, Influenza like and Respiratory infections ( mild to moderate) in Corona viruses ( SARS CoV’s) symptoms of (SARS-CoV2) and Retro-viral with Anti-bacterial compounds.

Not every herb listed in this COVID-19 post is used, rather each herb or products as listed should be chosen, as part of an overall strategy to address the specific signs and symptoms presented by each patient.

Plants with SARS CoV inhibiting activity:

Scutellaria baicalensis: inhibitory activities of baicalin against renin and angiotensin-converting enzyme. Can be combined with Hesperetin in dried tangerine peel for pneumonia prevention.

Sambucus spp : Antiviral with inhibitory activity of respiratory bacterial pathogens and influenza A and B viruses by blocking viral glycoproteins as well as indirect effects by increased expression of IL-6, IL-8, and TNF and mild immune modulatory effects.

Glycyrrhiza glabra: Antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties.Lowers viral antigens pre and post infection to SARS CoV. (Side-effects such as raised blood pressure and hypokalaemia have been reported).

Polygonum cuspidatum: Expresses antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and cardioprotective activities.

Allium sativum L.:Inhibition of the ACE2 and the main protease (PDB6LU7) protein of SARS-CoV-2. (The strongest anticoronavirus activity of 17 organosulfur
compounds is expressed in allyl disulfide and allyl trisulfide, which account for the highest content in garlic essential oil (51.3%).

Vaso-relaxants increases the presence of ACE-2 and helps protect the lungs from injury:

Andrographis paniculata acts as a vasorelaxant; inhibits lipopolysaccharide-induced nitric oxide (NO) production and inducible NO synthase (iNOS) expression in the murine macrophage-like cell line RAW 264.7. Blocks Ca2+ channels in the heart, and inhibits circulating ACE protecting the blood vessels in the lungs; including inhibition of proprotein convertases 1 -7 and furin by diterpines and their succinoyl esters. A. paniculata stop the multiplication of virus within the cells, through Mpro.

Salviae miltiorrhizae acts as a vasorelaxant opens KATP channels in the aorta, increase NO in the thoracic aortic rings ,blocks Ca2+ channels in the arterial and coronary rings, inhibits ACE in the heart, protects ACE-2 expression and lowers angiotensin 2.

Diseases such as COVID-19 and Influenza can be fatal due to Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome symptoms.

Immunomodulator Plant Compounds:

Astragalus Radix is an antiviral, immune tonic and can help modulate autoimmune inflammation.

Glycyrrhiza uralensis inhibits the production of caspase-1(p10) and mature IL-1β induced by NLRP3 inflammasome.

Emodin is an anthraquinone compound derived from Aloe, Rheum and Polygonum has shown to block the Spike protein in ACE2 interaction. It also inhibits the infectivity of S protein-pseudotyped retrovirus to Vero E6 cells. Emodin is highly protective of brain neurons and also a potent immune modulator.

Scutellaria baicalensis is protective against bacterial infections of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract, and various inflammatory diseases
and in preventing dengue virus entry into the host and inhibit post-entry replication. The inhibitory effects on microglial TNF- and NO production as well as protection of nerve growth factor(NGF)-differentiated PC12 cells and anti-cancer effects. A component of baicalensis Wogonin  acts as a positive allosteric modulator of the benzodiazepine site of the GABAA receptor.

Oenonthera biennis (Evening Primrose) GLA, linear aliphatic alcohols (e.g., Tetracosanol), and phenolic compound (ferulic acid) are the active components of evening primrose oil which have had protective roles against proinflammatory markers.

Rosmarinus officinalis Rosemary mediators: TNF-α and IL-1

Vaccinium myrtillus, Bilberry reduces hs-CRP, IL-6, and IL-12 and circulating LPS concentration.

Psoralea corylifolia L. (Fabaceae) protects from LPS-induced sepsis and attenuates LPS-induced inflammatory response.
Compounds such as resin acids (21.5%) along with glycerides of oleic, stearic, palmitic, myristic, myristolic, linoleic, and linolenic acids are found in the extract of the seeds. Two new coumestans—bavacoumestans A and B along with sophoracoumestan A were isolated from the seeds of P. corylifolia. P. corylifolia roots, diadzein, trilaurin, and coumesterol were isolated along with angelicin, psoralen, and sitosterol. Isolated from the plant other compounds present are β-d-glucosyl-cis-O-hydroxycinnamic acid.

Infants and Children’s protocols are with gentle Homeopathic Medicine as a preventative with protocols that effectively relieves a broad spectrum of cold and Influenza symptoms while stimulating immune defense, reducing fever, viral and bacterial infections. It may be given with emphasis on oral Hydration and Zinc for in cases of Rota Virus/Diarrhea. Zinc helps shorten the diarrhea episode, reduces the risk of the episode being persistent, and reduces the risk of future diarrhea and Pneumonia.

Sambucus spp may also be used as a preventative and protocol for age 1 yr and older. It inhibits viral entry and replication in human cells, and can help strengthen as stimulate the immune response to the virus. Increasing (TNFα), and interleukins (IL)1β, 6, and 8 including IL-10. Provides simultaneous immune modulation; improves endothelial function, also has anti-retroviral activity: neutralizes and reduces Influenza viruses A and B.

In the elderly protocols includes Antiviral compounds; Thymus stem cells; Vitamin D3 5,000 IUs a day; Hyperimmune colostrum or natural colostrum which includes Proline Rich Polypeptides to combat Influenza and other Viruses.

Astragali Radix increase receptor expressions in renal tissues, decreases ACE expression and change local Ang 2, MDA, NO and SOD in kidneys, so as to protect early damages in renal tissues.

Zinc and/or with zinc‐pyrithione for inhibiting the replication of RNA viruses and SARS‐CoV.

Influenza B is the most commonly reported virus among children and young adults ages 4 and under (56%) and 5-24 years (70%). Influenza A viruses are the most commonly reported flu virus among ages 25-64 (55%) and 65 years of age and older (62%).

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is the best all around supplement for enhancing immune function in all populations and preventative in COVID-19 Respiratory symptoms and related symptoms- 1 gram to 10 lbs of body weight. (Oral Liposomal Vitamin C for enhancing bio-availability in adults and also Vitamin C Intravenous (iv) therapy when appropriate.)

Notably, individuals who are deficient in Pantothenic acid can predispose individuals to “Respiratory Infections”.

Supplementing with a Pantothenic acid supplement, also called vitamin B5, can act as a prophylactic to respiratory infections. Liquid form is easiest to digest and assimilate in cases of gastrointestinal complications.

A natural source of Pantothenic acid is also found in Shiitake mushroom -Lentinula edodes. Shitake increase NK cell activity. Shitake also has immune-modulating abilities, especially its activated hexose correlated compound (AHCC)

Deficiency in Pantothenic acid can also cause Hypoglycemia, or an increased sensitivity to Insulin.

Flavonoids, particularly Luteolin, Apigenin, and Flavone, and the stilbenoid Resveratrol can act as a naturally occurring DPP-IV inhibitor.

The Beta-CoVs of the greatest clinical importance concerning are OC43 (which can cause the common cold) and HKU1 of the A lineage, SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 (which causes the disease COVID-19) of the B lineage, and MERS-CoV of the C lineage.

The infecting virus is an enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA virus which enters its host cell by binding to the DPP4 receptor.

Hydrolyzates of proteins are active as DPP-4 inhibitors.

Sophora Root(Radix Sophorae Flavescentis)activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors PPAR-gamma and PPAR alpha.

Momordica charantia activates both PPARα and PPARγ (gamma).

Magnoliae officinalis cortex (PPAR gamma) agonists and GABAA modulator with
antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, and antimicrobial properties.

The phytocannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) has been shown to activate PPAR gamma in in vitro and in vivo models.

Ubiquitin also plays an important role in regulating protein on the cellular level.

Kaempferol (also found in Ginko Biloba); Berberine; Rutin; and Quercetin as DPP4 inhibitor by inhibiting cleavage activity of 3CLpro enzyme.

P. longifolia is a DDP4 inhibitor, antimicrobial, anti-cancer, anti-leishmanial and antimalarial.

Individuals will need to begin to prepare and protect themselves and their family for Climate Change – Protection from Mosquitoes and other biting insects that transmit infectious diseases, such as Malaria, Dengue fever, Chikungunya and West Nile Virus.

We are currently in the 7th Manvantara, known as Kali Yuga – described in Sanskrit scriptures as the last stage the world goes through as part of a cycle, representative of strife, discord, quarrel or contention. Weather and the environment will degrade with time and frequent unpredictable rainfall will happen. Earthquakes will be common. ” Many diseases will spread.” Ignorance of Dharma will occur.

Prevention Guidelines for maximizing protection:

1) Social Distancing per 6 ft from one another.

2) Practice sound body and home “Hygiene”.

a) Wash hands immediately when returning home, and when at home often, with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds.

b) Wash your face before going to bed for sleep at night is an added measure of protection.

c) Remove shoes before entering the home, especially when visiting the hospital as the sole of the shoe has shown to carry the Corona virus.

3) Disinfect hard surfaces at home:

a) Isopropyl Alcohol solutions 70 percent alcohol or higher are effective against the human Corona virus. – ( Including Bleach with a concentration 5.25 to 8.25% of sodium hypochlorite.)

b) 1/4 of a cup of ammonia added to the laundry wash has shown effective against Corona virus.

4) Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose when outdoors when amiss the population.

What ever you do, please try to be Mindful. True Mindfulness includes being Mindful of others and of other sentient species – through the virtue of Equanimity.
