Cannabigerol is a CB1 receptor antagonist ,as well as both an Alpha2 adrenoreceptor agonist and a 5HT1A receptor antagonist.
Preclinical research models have shown CBG Cannabigerol to have broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) , a group of Gram-positive bacteria that are genetically distinct from other strains of Staphylococcus aureus.
